Samode is arranged in the illustrious Indian province of Rajasthan around 42 km from Jaipur, the capital city. Situated on approach to Shekhawati, this little town is well known for its haveli and stronghold. Samode is associated with Jaipur through a decent system of streets.
History
Not at all like the different havelis of Rajasthan, the Samode Palace doesn’t have a place with any imperial family yet a group of aristocrats, the Rawals of Samode. It is around 400 years of age, and has some new augmentations and adjustments. This family follows its plummet to Prithvi Singh of Amber (1503-1528), the seventeenth sovereign of the place of Kachwaha Rajputs, who thusly follow their drop to Lord Rama. Gopal Singh, one of the 12 children of Prithvi Singh, was given Samode, which owed faithfulness to the leaders of Amber and Jaipur. These aristocrats of Samode were gave the title of ‘Maha Rawal’, instead of only ‘Rawal’ by the illustrious family for their courage and dependability towards the regal family.
