Sanganer is also known as Kagazi Mihaela. The textile industry and handmade paper industry is present here. Hand block printing originated in Sanganer and it is one of the finest works found in India.

Worked in different stages with out of this world shikharas (towers), the sanctuary strikingly shows the aesthetic abilities of old models.
The last stage was presumably worked in the tenth century. The lovely nij-mandir (inward sanctuary) is a stone place of worship with three zeniths. '
A symbol of Parshwanath with 7 snake hoods is introduced at the middle. One can see the various carvings of lotuses, creepers and elephants pouring water from pitchers held in their trunks.
However, the primary icon is that of Adinath, introduced in the hallowed place behind this.
